Mission and Code of Conduct of the Geneva
Soccer Club
To foster the growth of
soccer by making it available to all Geneva area school age children, teaching it in a supportive
developmental way that emphasizes fun and ethical behavior. Participants and
spectators are expected to show proper respect for coaches, teammates,
opponents, officials, equipment and facilities, and to refrain from the use of
alcohol, tobacco, or drugs. Unethical conduct such as bullying or improper
threatening behavior could jeopardize the right to play or attend Geneva Soccer
Club events.
Policy of Playing at an
Older Level
A parent or guardian must send a
written request with the registration form to the Geneva Soccer Club by April 15th.
The evaluation criteria include players fitness, ability, and the impact on
teams at both levels. The Board of Directors must approve a request and obtain
the consent of all parties involved. Depending on the circumstances, a try-out
may be held in order to arrive at appropriate rosters. |
